Polaris AB: The Fable Collection of Short Stories
A greedy Partridge found a pile of seed and hungrily gulped down the free meal setting off a trap which brought down a wooden cage around it.
After a while, a Man came along and was very pleased to see what he had caught in his trap.
The Partridge said to the Man - " I am only a lean young bird. If you let me go, I know a lot more who are bigger and plumper than me that I could lead to your trap and you would have a far greater catch".
"Greed got you caught" - said the man - "Don't think you will gain your freedom through treachery by sacrificing others in your place - for those actions alone, a traitor doesn't deserve freedom. I caught you easily enough and I will catch the friends you would so easily betray too by the same means.
And the Moral of the Story is:
Gaining freedom by betraying others are the actions of a traitor.
Aesop's Fables c.600 B.C.
We live in a time when many are finding themselves trapped in a position that requires them to conduct certain actions to regain their freedoms. To retain a job position, or to gain access to certain levels of society, their actions are compromised and funnelled into controlled behaviours that require their obedience and compliance.
To maintain the position also requires them to speak out against all those who are not following the same procedures or complying with the same actions and in so doing, they become a willing enforcer of their own entrapment. This is reinforced through Others also following the same enforced patterns of behaviour to create a form of synchronised Stockholm Syndrome in sympathetic resonance.
Betrayal is a deeply embedded emotional entity that seeks to protect the Ego from falling from grace and avoiding any such action that threatens the continued existence of the identity.
Power amplifies the nature of an individual is whatever form the identity chooses to focus upon. It is an intentional test from the Soul to recognise that any action that seeks to sacrifice another's existence in preference to your own demonstrates lack of worthiness of the identity to embody the Soul Self as a Divine Sovereign Being and that we are all One in differing form.
This is a choice of the Ego dominance unwilling to defer to the intentions and impulses of the Soul.
