Polaris AB: The Fable Collection of Short Stories
The Dragonfly flew over the meadow with much sound of buzz, buzz buzzing and decided to take a rest.
So he landed on the end of one of the horn's of a Bull feeding in the meadow.
After he rested, just before he flew away, he thanked the Bull for allowing him the use of his horn as a resting place.
"I'm sure you heard me arriving" - said the Dragonfly - "you must be happy that I am going now so that you can go about your business".
The Bull replied: - "To be honest Little Fly, I hadn't noticed you arriving and would not have noticed you leaving either. Had you not spoken, I would not have known you were there at all".
And the Moral of the Story is:
Those with small minds and loud mouths often think of themselves with greater importance.
Importance is not a position gained but a position earned.
