​In 1815, William Bankes found a complete Obelisk dating back to the second century BC buried in the ruins of the Temple of Isis at Philae Island, Aswan, Egypt having travelled up the Nile into Upper Egypt.

The Obelisk which had once stood with its twin outside the temple, was unusual in that it featured both Egyptian hieroglyphs and Greek writing on its four sides. He realised the significance in assisting the ongoing quest to decipher the meaning of Hieroglyphs into modern understanding and reveal the secrets of the past so he purchased it. It took six years to transport the large nine metre block of stone back to England which involved the Duke of Wellington lending a large cannon gun carriage and King George IV providing a large block of Egyptian red granite onto which the obelisk was raised.

Two weeks previously, I stood at the entrance to the Temple of Isis in Aswan and now stood at the base of the Obelisk that took six years to travel to its new location of Kingston Lacy, Wimborne, Dorset - just five miles from where I grew up and lived. The whole time that I and many others known within the spiritual community have been living within the energetic influence of the Egyptian Obelisk brought from the ruined Temple of Isis. Little wonder I took up Stone Balancing with which to raise the energies of a location wherever I travelled!

Also, present near the obelisk is a Red Granite Stone Sarcophagus of Amenemope, Chief Steward of Amun-Ra, from Thebes Temple (now Luxor) dating back to 1300 BC.
Many memories of these times were presented during my travels with my ancient brother, Sayed Adli Bdaway of Golden Light Journey through Egypt including the many ceremonies and rituals performed during those times. It was an honour to conduct one such ceremony in re-uniting the energetic connections between the Obelisk and the Sarcophagus with their original locations so far away in both space and time.
