Your imagination and dreams become important by displaying on your inner mind screen, projections of thought forms yet to manifest within your world. Imagination is not 'made up' through abstract or delusional thinking but purposely seeks to bridge the gap with the multi-dimensional part of YOU, whether it makes sense or not.

In the case of a linear story which follows purpose and intent, there may be the beginnings of an idea or creation with maybe a tool or object that you can use on a multi dimensional level to assist you or others. Focus your intention on its use within your dream / imagination, attempt to recreate a version of what you saw and make it in this world - this will allow the energies of your thoughts to flow through you into manifestation. No matter how crude your initial reproduction, the materials needed will become more obvious in time and be made available to you through the Law of Attraction resonating and working in your favour.
