Imagine you are on a cosmic journey planning your next experience and you get to a planet where you forget where you have come from and where you are going. You move from one place to another, one person to another, one lifetime to another trying to remember who you are and what you came here to do. You feel a bit lost, can't find a direction and keep doing what you are doing until something happens to wake you up. A part of you gets in contact with you and says hey, there's more to life then just this.
This sets you off on a journey of discovery to find out why you are here, what you are meant to be doing and who you actually are. You meet some interesting people along the way, some you get on with and some you don't. You begin to find out who you are by the people you are drawn to. I like you because you like what I like, you do what I do and you want to find out who I am is too.
One day, something happens and you meet someone who says, let's really find out who you are. Let's look at all the things you have inside you that you have put away from your past experiences. The things that you hide, that hurt you, that frighten you, that make you angry and sad, the things you Love and the things you don't. Let's bring all these things to the surface so that we can find out what is stopping you from seeing who you truly are within.
You defend, you fight against, you ignore, you hide, you deflect. You go through all these things to avoid taking soul responsibility for recognising your Self through the eyes of another that holds you in a field of Love. Only it doesn't feel like Love, it feels like being attacked, being blamed, being held accountable, all the things that we accuse others of doing so that we don't have to look at our Selves.
So with each passing moment, you begin to understand that you are journeying a bit deeper within, recognising what you have been holding onto, what needs realising and recognising and releasing. Rather than rejecting and responding and reinforcing.
All our involvement with the Higher Self cannot help us to see our Self through the eyes of Others. There are versions of us out there which we do not know at all. Versions that have been created by Others based on their experiences of us. They are not us in our entirety but they are part of who we have been to another. So, many may continue to seek romantic love, sexual love, companionship love but the greatest Love is for someone to see us exactly as we are, accept all that is and love us anyway. We must Love ourselves unconditionally for All that we are, so that every version that is created by Others of us is only done so out of Love too.
